The Long Shore Walk

The Long Shore Walk was inspired by those wild coastal moments where the sky feels vast, restless and alive with movement.

I wanted to capture the drama of approaching weather rolling across an open shoreline, contrasted against the calm rhythm of the sea and sand below. The painting is layered with soft atmospheric tones, deep ocean blues and sweeping cloud formations that create both tension and tranquillity within the same scene.

For me, it reflects the feeling of walking along an empty shoreline with space to think, breathe and reconnect — where nature feels powerful, grounding and endlessly inspiring.
