Passing Through

Passing Through reflects those quiet moments in life where we find ourselves moving between uncertainty and hope.

The ethereal figures within the foreground appear almost transient, like memories, travellers or passing souls, crossing a vast and shifting landscape beneath an atmospheric sky. I wanted the painting to feel contemplative and open-ended, with the distant light on the horizon suggesting the promise of calmer days and new beginnings ahead.

Through layered textures, softened forms and muted earthy tones, the piece explores movement, emotion and the idea that even during periods of change, there is always light drawing us forwards.
