Alium

Allium was one of my earliest floral studies and remains a piece I’ve always felt deeply connected to. I was drawn to the soft, watery hues and the way the colours seem to drift across the canvas, creating a feeling of calm movement and lightness.

Inspired by the delicate structure of the allium flower itself, the painting balances softness with energy, allowing layers of colour and texture to emerge organically. For me, this piece captures a sense of freedom and intuition an early reflection of the expressive style that continues to shape my work today.
